Visa 888 – Creative Business Investment (permanent residence) is a continuation of the 188A, 188B, 188C Creative Business Investment (temporary) visa streams to convert applicants to permanent residency in Australia.
To apply for an 888 visa, you are a holder of a 188A, 188B, 188C visa and have made your business investment commitments, that is:
- Business investment stream 188A: your business in Australia has met the criteria for sales, investment capital, and hiring.
- Investment in bonds, investment funds, securities 188B or 188C: you have maintained your investments in bonds, investment funds … for 4 years as committed.
Visa duration and benefits 888
- The 888 visa is a permanent resident visa issued to all family members attached to the previous 188A 188B 188C visa.
- Children can study for free in grades 1-12
- The whole family enjoys free medical care
- Have the right to sponsor relatives
- Have the right to take the test for Australian citizenship if you meet the requirements

Visa 888 conditions:
- You need to be approved by the state where you are investing, doing business and settling down before you submit your application for permanent residence visa 888 to the Australian Department of Immigration.
- You commit to continue to maintain investment and business activities in Australia
- Special conditions for 188A
- Length of time in Australia: in the last 2 years before applying for PR visa 888, you have resided in Australia for at least 50% of the time (ie 366 days), this condition varies in the following countries: Bang.
- Your business or premises in Australia have been operating for at least 2 years
- You meet the criteria for sales, investment capital, personal assets and conditions for hiring Australian workers in your business activities as required by the Investment State.
- Specific conditions for 188B, 188C
- Duration of living in Australia: during your 4 years of temporary stay when you have a 188B, 188C investment visa you have a total residence time in Australia of at least 2 years (ie 731 days) for 188B or 160 days for 188C
- You have maintained your investments during the four-year visa commitment period
- Duration of living in Australia: during your 4 years of temporary stay when you have a 188B, 188C investment visa you have a total residence time in Australia of at least 2 years (ie 731 days) for 188B or 160 days for 188C
